"When I was 4 years old, I got in big trouble for climbing to the top of a 3 story section of scaffolding that had been erected along the back side of my family's new home that was under construction. At that age, I loved every aspect of building. As I grew older, I loved to draw houses, in fact, it was the only thing I drew. Even now I can remember symmetry being really important to me back then. I’m probably the only middle schooler who had a subscription to Architectural Digest, and kept that subscription active all the way through high school, saving every single copy. Safe to say, I’ve always had a passion for the home.

After an architecture internship in high school confirmed that copy and paste would not be my calling, I got the chance to jump into interior design because of my prior exposure in the industry. That experience lasted about 4 years total, on either side of a 2 year mission trip in Mexico. I finally got my real estate license in 2002, and went full-time in 2003. My first couple years in real estate were amazing! I loved the work, I was willing to do whatever needed to be done, and I was achieving levels of success that I had only previously dreamed of.
